We are pleased to announce that the Internet Freedom team at Freedom House is now accepting applications for the FH IGF Incubator Project! This exciting competition among civil society activists and organizations will result in funding up to $15,000 USD for projects that promote, protect and advocate for Internet freedom at the national or regional level.
Freedom House IGF Incubator Project
During the competition, applicants will publicize their innovative ideas through social media platforms and compete for public support. At least four projects will be selected to participate in the Freedom House delegation to the Global Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Azerbaijan in November 2012. Representatives of these projects will present their ideas before a panel of judges in a public pitch at the IGF, and at least two projects will be selected to receive Freedom House funding. Project proposals will be accepted on a rolling basis until the deadline of September 1, 2012. A complete application consists of the following steps:
