Political instability has risen again in Moldova. Prime Minister Vlad Filat announced in a briefing today that his political party – the Liberal-Democrat Party – is leaving the ruling coalition, named the Alliance for European Integration (AEI). AEI was created in 2009 on a consensus of four political parties to stop a political hiatus and was designed to lead the country towards European integration. The current AEI 2 was established after reelections in Moldova in 2010. It was formed out of three political parties.
